SKH-9 high-speed steel is a high-performance high-speed alloy steel imported from Japan. This steel features fine, orderly, and well-distributed carbide structure with uniform organization. It possesses hot and cold work plasticity, along with good machinability and grindability.

Factory hardness: 265 HBW

Ultra-cryogenic heat treatment hardness: 62-63 HRC

SKH-9 high-speed steel applications:

Used as a substitute for W-type high-speed tool steel;

Heat treatment process: Austenitizing temperature 1210-1230°C, A.O.H cooling; triple tempering at 560°C with air cooling
